Hilton Youth Project

Hilton Youth Project works with the local schools and community to support local young people.

Our Youth Worker, Rich Olyott, works in 3 local schools providing help and assistance as necessary. Activities include leading assemblies, teaching RE, PSE, and IT. We also work with Behavioural Support, and also help run a school pupil newspaper, and football coaching. There are numerous other activities that come up on a one off basis.

The Youth Worker acts as a bridge between the young people and the church. It is hoped that by spending quality time with local young people, they will find support in their lives and may also discover more about Christianity. Relationships are vitally important. The work in the schools enables us to promote other activities that we run, for example our holiday clubs.

The Youth Worker is also fully involved in the life of Hilton Church.
